SHOWTIME LADY GAGA

Don't attempt to adjust the television reception this Sunday. The fuzzy image at this year's 52nd Grammy Awards will most likely be Lady Gaga.  It's the Grammy's! Obviously one of the music industry's most decorated acts has to stand out as the centerpiece. And you thought Thanksgiving came once a year.

It's all eyes on Gaga (she told Oprah that’s what she prefers the name sans Lady), whose music and style share a reciprocal relationship. This year marks the music sensation’s second appearance at the Grammy's. Last year, she earned a Best Dance Recording nomination for her hit "Just Dance.” Her other anthems, "Paparazzi" (about Princess Diana’s death) and "Poker Face" (about—well, you know) are more recent pop fixtures that are undeniably good. There! I said it! Like them or not (with the volume up or down), Lady Gaga is akin to a female P.T. Barnum—the greatest show on earth.  And the world hasn't seen it all from the Gaga Queen. Even posing practically nude on last June's cover of Rolling Stone (she covered her unmentionables with bubbles), the former cash cow for Interscope Records always has a trick up her sleeve. Or leotard. Take your pick. And when the forward-thinker is overdressed, she still pushes the envelope. Can you say bird's nest as headgear? How about jacket made out of Kermit the frog heads? For Gaga, totally normal.

No doubt she’ll have us going ga-ga over her Grammy ensembles on Sunday night and we can't wait!
